Fishing with a RC Helicopter

How to go fishing with an RC Helicopter

I like spending time with my children. We play all types of games, but because the father's strange that I like to try and find new twists to have fun playing with my children. One day we went to school in their carnival fundraiser - you know, the high cost of food, games and activities with the cheap prices that Disney would blush. Now we were there and one of the activities that had the classic "Fishing pond" was. It was a sheet in a row rattybetween the two poles with a couple of young guys behind high prices cheap economic ties with Poland and threw them out every fisherman who has come. Well, I do not want to detract from a time-honored classic carnival games like the fish pond, but while I was there walking a child at a time to cast their line and wait for the tug saying it signaled the arrival of a truly great brand , a bad mistake plastic or an enigmatic Chinese finger trap protection I thought: "Surely there is a betterway. "I began, I was able to change the game Fish Pond and I think a little 'too exciting. With the help from me, and RCPlanePro.com Art-Tech, I think I succeeded. See, fishing Helicopter RC!

Materials required

Fishing is one of the best things about RC Helicopter is that it does not take much to make it a success. All you need is the following:

• A high quality micro RC helicopter - I have my Art-Tech Micro from my site, RCPlanePro.com, but notQuality micro heli works.

• A length of rope - enough to make the downwash of the rotors of helicopters (more on that in a minute) to compensate.

• A small but powerful enough magnet.

• A roll of craft magnet, preferably with adhesive on one side (as it saves them at any craft or hobby that you can get cut to a certain size). You can also replace magnet for paper clips, art, but the paper clips do not work aswell.

• A hot glue gun complete with a glue stick.

• Several sections of funky looking fish (I usually plan on two or three fish per participant)

• A sign - no matter what color, just try one, not the fish that will bleed through the paper to obtain.

• tape - this is the string that attaches to the helicopter, so be picky about what you use tape. I prefer painters tape because it leaves no traces or stains from my helicopter, although not as strong asTape.

• A blue sheet, towel or blanket.

• Other decorations available, depending on how elaborate your pond.

• The prizes for participants.

Preparation

You know your valley

One of the most important things you can do to prepare your fish tank helicopter to know who produces your current helicopters. Downstream is simply the force of air to the bottom because of rotation of the rotor thrust. Several helicoptersproduce different amounts of wind. Need to know how much you current in your helicopter as it produces the fish according to weight to use - you do not want to blow away all the fish in a helicopter, before the kids a chance, they catch!

The helicopter is down current is one of the main reasons that staples are less effective than Option heavier magnet. So to test this, I suggest you cut the fish and setting the size of the magnet pieces of it - without theexposed adhesive - and then fly the helicopter to see the fish, if you blow away, if they do, add more than one magnet.

Another option for this is to stick something heavy magnets and the magnets in order to use the fish. Again, be careful with this, because it is sure that the helicopter off the ground, the fish can do!

Getting the right length of the string

Once you know how hard the fish needs, you want to determine the length of the string to protect the helicopter. This is an important step because you do not want to spend the valley from your chopper to the string in wide circles - which is really hard to catch a fish for the children.

The best way to find out what you need the length of the string is easy to test. I'm sure there are some intelligent mathematical equation that someone could use smarter than me to figure it out first, but I'm not the type. I go the old school of trial and error. By the way, if you happensmart guy from that, please let me know the equation imagination so that it can save a few characters. On the way regular old ...

I suggest you start with a piece of string about 2.5 meters in length, which is generally sufficient to maintain the magnet weighted string stable. Tape the string to the bottom of the helicopter a little 'back of the nose. The reason for the implementation of the string is opposed to right in the middle of the helicopter that, when the majority of RC helicopters to move their nose dipped only slightly, if theString in a place where it is closer to the fish as a result, this dip is connected, makes it easier for children to succeed. Maybe you want two pieces of tape for added safety when you hold a fish caught dangling.

Use glue gun to glue the magnet on the end of the string - the end that is not attached to the helicopter. Once the string and magnet are sure to stand out, and start by simply hovering in one place. Make sure the string is allGround so that you do not get a false positive on this test due to friction with the ground. When the helicopter is up, left to float for about 30 seconds and see the amount of rotation you get on a string. If you do not move too much to negotiate a few twists and turns with the helicopters and repeatedly observe how the string behaves.

If you find that you are getting a lot of rotating string, country band and a simple piece of string slightly longer than your helicopter. The idea is to get to the end magnetthe string far enough away from the rotors, is not affected by the lower course. Further testing length string until it allows you to hang a magnet rotating stable enough without a lot to find.

The fish and the pond

Now you know, your helicopter is ready to set all the time, the fish and the pond. For fish, good fish just a few clips online and print them. You can print in color, or you can print in black and white and then havefor children before their color of fish. I prefer the latter because they have involved children and she is really asking for the business as they are coloring.

If the fish is dyed or printed, cut out and use a pen or marker to write a number on the back. Each number has won a prize for the child to catch fish related. Alternatively, you could have all the fish and trying different types of fish are at a price, it all depends on how many fish you needand can be found.

Pulling the adhesive side of the magnet piece or pieces and paste them to fish near the lips. How to fix the cable near the nose of the helicopter, putting the magnet near the mouth makes it a little fish 'to make it easier for children, they.

If your ready to fish with blue sheets or towels or whatever you choose to use have and spread it on the ground, will take place where the game is. Do not worry about the blade is completely flat;In fact, a few wrinkles because they seem so well and somehow with the help of some magnetized fish lips makes them take a little 'easier.

I like to decorate the pond with trees of various plastic and maybe a tree or three and all that comes to mind. Sometimes I have included foreigners, stuffed animals, and once or twice a few random "metal junk" as the kids need to avoid obstacles. Just take a few minutes to discuss what they might think the most fun activitiesfor children.

Going fishing

If everything is set and the helicopter is fully charged, begin to let the Crazy Fishing! You can create custom rules that you have for children, but usually I like to let the kids fish for 90 seconds if you get something first. To take per round or 90 seconds, then switch. Go through the children until each child has caught a fish, and at least deserved a prize. Depending on your budget, but maybe you can get them in two, three or moreFish! They are so much fun going until it dies or you run the helicopter from fish.

Advice

Here are some tips before the outbreak of the children seen in the game:

1 - Try the game before playing children. Make sure the string does not rotate, make sure that the helicopter can lift the fish magnetized and that you have enough space for children to make the best drivers.

2 - you do not have a battery backup or other tasks that you can load the helicopter -consider children a time to catch a fish. Most RC helicopters, about 30-45 minutes to recharge the batteries again - this can wait long for a group of antsy kids! So if you have a battery backup or other scheduled activities, while the battery charges, will not have as great a risk for child rebellion.

3 - Turn on all indoor fans and ceiling fans. The air currents caused by these fans, can interfere with the flight model makes it difficult for the helicopter Micro, theChildren-pilot.

4 - If you are with younger children who find it difficult to fly the helicopter, instead of using magnets to get the fish are playing, just use (should be weighted more) large sections of the fish and the children have just the ground - or crash - to win the helicopter on it. I used water lilies and frogs of weights and measures, that worked.

If you need to consider other suggestions, please let me know. Even if you tried RC Helicopter Fishing, let me know how it went. And ifIt happens to be the guy who is smarter than me and knows the mathematical equations for the funky string, you should hit me up You better kiddies fun, it's much better to put the plastic sheet-bug version!
